The aftercare instructions for Microblading & Hybrid Brow, as well as Ombré Powder Brows, procedures include the following:
For the first 2 days, avoid getting the brows very wet and wipe away any lymph fluid 2 hours after the procedure and before bedtime using a wet wipe or a moistened paper towel with purified or distilled water.
From Day 2 to Day 10, keep the brows dry and avoid getting water directly on them while showering or bathing. Dry the area gently with a clean towel if water splashes on them.
Do not scrub, rub, itch, or pick the crust that forms during the healing process, as this may cause pigment loss.
Do not use any lotions, makeup, foundation, concealer, or skin treatments like Retin-A, Glycolic, or exfoliating products on or around the eyebrows.
Do not sweat or get the brows wet for 10 days.
Avoid going to places that are not very clean, such as the gym or gardening, and avoid touching or scratching the healing brows with unwashed fingers.
Stay out of the sun for 2 weeks and use sunblock afterwards to prevent premature fading.
Do not use a tanning bed for a month.
Try not to sleep on your face for the first 10 days.
If there is redness or swelling, it is normal, but if there is angry or hot redness, you should contact your doctor.
It is normal for the brows to appear darker and bolder for the first 10 days due to scabbing and healing, and for some strokes to seem to absorb into the skin and disappear. The brows may lighten up to 50% once they have healed. The instructions provided are to ensure proper healing and prevent infections, pigment loss, blurring, or discoloration.
